LOCAL PROTOTYPEUpdated 2026-08-13

AERA · PRIVACY

Your data stays on this device.

AERA is currently an iOS local prototype: everything it uses is stored on your phone, not uploaded or shared. Below is what the prototype actually stores, what it doesn't do, and how this page will change before a networked version ships.

Today

What this prototype stores

Every point below refers only to the current iOS local prototype, not to any future networked version.

checklist / workbench

Your lists and workbench content are saved in on-device UserDefaults — inside this device's app sandbox, never leaving it.

Mock Health (simulated health data)

Health data in the prototype comes from a local simulator, not real HealthKit. It never requests system health access or reads your health records.

What we don't do

This prototype explicitly does not

If any of these ever changes, this page will be updated before the corresponding version ships.

  • No account / sign-in

No account is created, no identity is collected, and no registration is needed to use the prototype.

  • No cloud sync

Data never leaves the device and is not synced between devices.

  • No real AI backend

Nothing is sent to any AI service; every result is produced by local logic.

  • No HealthKit reads, no health uploads

Health-related screens use local mock data and never connect to system health data.

  • No analytics / ad SDKs

No tracking, no analytics, no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

A networked version

This policy will be updated before launch

If a future version of AERA adds accounts, sync, or a real AI backend, this page will be updated before that version ships: what is collected, where it is stored, how it can be deleted, and what choices you have.

Until then, the prototype's data belongs only to your device.

Scope

What this page does and doesn't cover

This page describes the current development stage. It is not a legal document, and it does not mean the app has passed App Store review or launched. It will be reviewed by legal and platform teams before release.
