Where things stand
AERA is an iOS local prototype Karin is building to explore the idea of a personal AI workbench. It is not on the App Store and has no public beta channel. The product page will be updated as it progresses.

- Can I use AERA right now?
- It currently runs only as a local prototype with no public download. You can read the product page to see the design direction.
- Do I need an account?
- No. The current prototype has no accounts and no sign-in.
- Will my data be synced or uploaded?
- No. The prototype stores everything on your device: no account, no sync, no real AI backend.
- Will AERA be paid?
- It is still in the prototype stage and has no pricing yet. Pricing for a future release will be announced on the product page first.
Troubleshooting
If something isn't working, try these
The interface doesn't respond
Make sure the app is in the foreground with no system dialog covering it, then reopen the prototype.
Generated results look wrong
The prototype generates results with local logic and has limited capability. Try describing your need more specifically, or rephrase it.
I want to start over
See the Data & deletion page: deleting the app clears all local data.
Offline / unknown requests
The prototype behaves honestly
The current prototype follows these ground rules:
Works offline
The prototype runs entirely on-device and does not depend on the network. Going offline doesn't affect it.
It doesn't fake an answer it can't give
When it can't do what you asked, it says so plainly instead of inventing a result.
Results are produced locally
There is no real AI backend; all output comes from local simulation logic.
Official support
There will be a real channel, and none are faked
AERA has no dedicated email or support team yet, so there are no placeholder links here. When the release ships, official support channels (email, in-site contact) will be announced on this site.
